Truecaller has rolled out new version of application on Play Store as it goes past 100 million users mark globally, Truecaller says it doubled its daily new users in less than 3 months. Apart from new design, the new version brings a slew of new features touted as “Intelligent & Predictive”.

Now Truecaller users can get suggested contacts based call history, time, or location. Truecaller says the app gets smarter as you use it. The phonebook now has complete contact profile, including social media profiles and photos. Also, users can search within your contacts as well as names and numbers beyond your existing phone book.

As said above, the app has a new new user interface. Once a user profile is pulled, you just need to swipe left to text or swipe right to place a cal ."This is the first step we are taking to make Truecaller more intelligent and personal. We’ve made these advancement to save time for our users and make their lives less complicated when they want to get in touch with someone,” said Alan Mamedi, Co-Founder & CEO of Truecaller. “Our ambition is to make your mobile phone smarter and become part of your mobile daily habits.”



Truecaller ties up with Tata Docomo


Truecaller has tied up with telecom operator Tata Docomo to provide unlimited access to Trucaller service to Docomo subscribers.

With the partnership, users will also get access to the premium features of Truecaller free of cost, for a period of 90 days. The premium Truecaller application includes

Profile Views: 
Users will be able to see who’s viewed their profile. They can even see how many minutes ago someone saw it.

Ad Free: Users will experience an advertisement free Truecaller experience

Monthly Contact Requests: Users will get 30 contact requests at the start of every month. With these requests users can contact other Truecaller users by looking for their name in the directory.

Truecaller says its new partnership is in-line with the strategy to tie-up with service providers in order to expand its user base in India. Currently, Truecaller has more than 30 million users in India, which is more than 50% of its global user base of 55 million.
